A Casual Vacancy exists on the Helston Town Council for a Councillor in the North Ward, which is to be filled by co-option. The Town Council’s 2017/18 budget was approved at the Full Council meeting on 15th December 2016. Members ratified the budget as recommended by the Policy, Finance & Resources Committee and set a Precept (the sum included on Council Tax bills) of £352,740. The effect is a 3.05% increase to a Band D property.
