Any residents wishing to lay flowers during the mourning period for HM Queen Elizabeth II, may do so in the Garden of Remembrance beside the Grylls Monument which is open daily.  Please ensure that all wrapping is removed before laying any flowers.  All floral tributes will be removed on the day after the funeral and composted.  The compost will be used to plant a memorial tree in the town.

Making a donation to one of Her Majesty’s many charities and patronages may be considered a fitting way of paying tribute to HM Queen Elizabeth II. Further information on how to donate and a list of Her Majesty’s charities and patronages will be made available on the Royal website:
