CAST secures Arts Council grant

A message from the Mayor following the announcement that CAST has won an Arts Council grant:
I am hugely excited by the announcement from the Arts Council on Wednesday 6th January that CAST, working with other West Cornwall arts organisations, have secured £500,000 for an interdisciplinary arts festival in this area. This is a massive achievement and I am sure that Helston will be prominent on the 2018 festival map. I am also pleased about the links that this will secure between our schools and colleges in the area. It will surely nurture the huge array of creative talent that we are so lucky to have around us. The GROUNDWORK programme is very good news for our area. Well done for those that secured this funding.
