Police Warning

This is the Police message: Please be aware, and let others know, thank you:

 Police are receiving reports of men entering shops/and beauty salons in Cornwall using their mother as a ploy to get staff to leave the shop /till area.

Their excuses have been that they has come to collect a bag left in the shop earlier by their mother, or that they are waiting for their mother. Reports of this mode of crime have been made in Truro/WadeBridge and Falmouth.

Suspect 1: in Truro was described as being white of stocky build, aged 25-35yrs old with a freckly complexion wearing a grey hoody and black trousers.
Suspect 2: in Truro was described as white, 25-30yrs of age , of medium build with short ginger hair wearing a black suit and carrying a briefcase.
Suspect 3: in Wadebridge was described as being white 6ft tall wearing a coat and blue jeans and carrying a multi coloured rucksack, whilst
Suspect 4: in Falmouth has been described as being white in his early twenties, 6ft tall with blonde hair wearing a beige jacket, smart casual clothing.

Businesses are asked to be aware of these incidents. Do not leave the till unattended, if you have to leave the retail area , lock the till and remove the key. Thank you
