Flora Day Greenery

Greenery will be delivered to the area behind Boots the Chemists and beside the Anson Gun in Church Street at about 7.30 / 8.00 p.m. on Thursday 5th May. You are welcome to use this for decorating your premises in preparation for Flora Day.

Cory will be in the town first thing in the morning after Flora Day to clear up and their last collection will be at 8.30am. Any greenery taken down after that time will be the responsibility of the shop keepers or households to dispose of sensibly.

Shop keepers and householders are asked that any unused greenery, that they do not return to the communal collection points, is kept on their business premises and put out for the early Sunday morning collection. This is to avoid the town bins are being filled before Flora Day as they cannot be emptied because of the road closures.
